Pechan to Present at a Capitol Hill Briefing on Climate Change Mitigation

Pechan's Director of Climate Change Services, Mr. Stephen Roe, to Present at a Capitol Hill Briefing on Climate Change Mitigation in the Agriculture, Forestry & Waste Management Sectors.

Mr. Roe will be assisting the Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) and the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) are partnering on a series of Capitol Hill briefings about state actions on climate, economic and energy policy, and how they can inform the current Congressional debate on climate policy and related economic, energy security, transportation, and natural resource issues. The comprehensive climate planning going on at the state level for the last six years has consistently included a full suite of policies in the agriculture, forestry and waste management sectors as well as specific actions that support land protection, conservation practices, renewable energy and products and waste recovery.
